The University of Toronto (U of T) Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering (FASE) was founded in 1873. As of the 2022 - 2023 academic year, there are 5,628 undergraduate students and 3,011 graduate students enrolled in the faculty, and over 50,000 living alumni worldwide. Within the university, it is known by the nickname of Skule and has the oldest university engineering society in Canada.
