What are Late News Posters?

The purpose of the call for Late News Posters, with deadline 16 July, is to enable new and exciting research results to be presented at MicroTAS 2024 in Montréal with the goal of giving the opportunity to present the latest and most exciting results at the conference.

Late News submissions need to follow the submission guidelines of the abstracts that were due in May. In addition to the standard criteria for acceptance (e.g., novelty, innovation, impact, relevance, and data quality), Late News submissions will be judged on how new and exciting the results are and whether the results will be of general interest to the conference participants.

Late News submissions will be accepted for poster presentations only and are not eligible for the various poster awards. These posters will be presented during each of the poster sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, along with the contributed posters for the entirety of the 2-hour timeframe allotted. Also,
