"Vortex Virtuoso" - A microscopic image, smaller than a hair's width, shows the top view of a micropillar polymerized inside a microfluidic channel and acoustically excited to induce microstreaming flow. The resultant flow is tracked using tracers and analyzed using image processing to reveal the acoustic microstreaming pattern.
